Florida A&M was very friendly and welcoming when I started in 2019, even when I graduated. The food has its days, but Fried Chicken Wednesday will always hit differently. Everyone's experience will be different, but it is what you make of it. If I could experience FAMU again, I will. There is an organization for everyone, so it is easy to get involved on campus. The party scene is good. Sometimes, it is a hit or miss, in my opinion, but lately, it has been entertaining in Tallahassee. Something is always going on, but the fun can wait... make sure you do your work first. Don't ever feel like you are missing out on anything. Parties and distractions will exist at any college, so it's all about choices. I went to FAMU for four years and had fun, but I assure you that my coursework was finished and submitted on time. FAMU has many resources and connections, so be active on campus and within the community. The best #1 public HBCU and school choice, so I recommend it to anyone!
